An editor is used to edit and change code. For many it is enough but I also want an IDE. With the help of an IDE, you can debug code, set breakpoints and view the contents of variables. It allows for a more complete development environment.
I’ve been using PHPstorm for many years and find it has worked well. But I installed a new laptop and decided to try Visual Studio. This is an environment I used 10 years ago so I had a clear memory of what it should look like.
Of course, it didn’t look like that at all!
I am pleasantly surprised. It was quick and easy. The interface when connected via sftp is simple and any problems in the code are indicated.
Will I replace PHPstorm? Yes, probably because Visual Studio seems to be able to do the same things and unlike PHPStorm it is free :).

Therefore, many visitors are not always good!
