Create email address link in wordpress

There is nothing special about a link to an email address in WordPress, you do it the same way as in any other system. It’s completely standard hmtl and you can put it anywhere in the header, menu, content or in your footer.

Linking to an email address can be useful and modern phones and browsers open an email program automatically when such a link is clicked, making it easier for the visitor.

The principle is very simple 😉

A typical link looks like this:

and a link to the email address looks like this (custom email address link in html):

mailto:info@kobotolo.se

In other words, you create an email address link in wordpress by selecting the word you want as a link and then clicking on the paper clip.

You can also use an email address link in the navigation menu. Then create a custom link in the menu and select the text you want and then a link as above.
